Our project was extremely complicated - restoring a 115 year-old family camp with extensive damage from a fallen tree - and we could not have done it without Nancy. The very first day she arrived on site, she heroically crawled under the house amidst a field of chaotic debris to make a complete assessment of the damage. From that day forward, her commitment to the project and her deep intelligence and genius for problem-solving were clear. Our goals were to save the house and to retain as much of its unique original character as possible: given the state it was in, others might have advised us to tear it down and rebuild, but not Nancy. She masterminded a helical pier foundation, new roof, and steel beam support system that not only saved the house for generations to come, but were also so well camouflaged into the existing woodwork as to be nearly undetectable. The finished product is an ingenius design and, so to speak, a marvel of engineering. Beyond that, Nancy is a wonderful person: personable, patient and easy to communicate with. She also worked seamlessly with the lead contractor on the project, who sang the praises of her work at every opportunity. We could not be more grateful to her and would recommend her without reservation to anyone in need of a truly excellent engineer.
